Wow what a crazy few months it’s been holding this in. Honestly never thought this would happen so quickly. When I came back from LA after @facetfashionweek I was thinking of taking a little time out to have a “regular” life, but clearly that’s not for me. (Let’s be serious i’d get so bored without all the drama and impossible deadlines anyway).
I will be showcasing my rebirth Phase Two collection at @lafwdc this October going head to head with 12 other designers ! Eeeekkkkk can’t wait for this intense experience. To my followers, sorry for being absent for a few weeks but you can imagine it’s been very chaotic for me ! Now that the big news is up I will be posting all my progress, every week, right up until the show !!

I can’t believe I’m off again, I’m a little insane to think I can achieve something that’s a little impossible – 10 added looks to my 6 look collection ? To make it a big 16 piece collection that will go head to head with other designers collections ? In just under 3 months ? It’s a little crazy isn’t it !! There’s about 2 months to go and I haven’t even started production yet !!!!

I just want to say though, designing my new range, I’ve been working every weekend for the past 6 weeks now. It’s so hard to try to stay true to your labels identity and also try to be extravagant at the same time. I am a little scared that Ratavosi the Label won’t be as intricate as other designers attending but this is me, this is Ratavosi and I won’t change it just to be a winner. In my heart and my eyes I already am. I can only wish for success, exposure and experience. That’s why I’m in this. My passion will keep me going regardless.
